Karen is a Calgary artist, and Exhibiting Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, whose bright, highly textured works have people asking “how do you do that? Her work is inspired by the beauty in nature and creation, and the healing power of art.

Her innovative and distinctive artistic style often includes 3D texture and eco-friendly recycled acrylic appliqué, a technique that repurposes leftover paint, transforming it into sculptural elements that breathe life and intrigue into her pieces.

Karen is a student of the Milan Art Institute and has been honing her skills through workshops and mentorships with Mastrius. She also holds an advanced Diploma in Expressive Arts through the Prairie Institute of Expressive Art Therapy.
